Rosebery NSW: An abundance of luxury apartments
November 8th 2007 20:00
Rosebery (2018) is a suburb located in the South-East region of Sydney approximately 7 kilometres from the CBD and 10 minutes away from the Kingsford-Smith Sydney International Airport.
Due to its convenient location, parts of the suburb have slowly undergone urban gentrification - a few small industrial areas (there are still many old buildings/warehouses) have been transformed into modern residential and retail developments.
Most noticeable are the new residential developments on Epsom Road, Queen Street and Dalmeny Avenue.
These aforementioned areas are largely dominated by modern apartment complexes boasting luxury urban living in a secure environment with a range of 1, 1 , 2, and 3 bedroom apartments set over 10 levels.
While some are ready for new residents to move into straight away, there are many others waiting to be purchased off the plan. Take this new apartment complex on the corner of Epsom Road and Rothschild Avenue for instance.
Valentino Place will consist of 266 apartments and will come with its own resort style facilities including an indoor heated pool, fully equipped gymnasium, spa and sauna and plenty of parking for you and your guests. All apartments, come with high quality finishes, blinds, light fittings, and professionally fitted built in wardrobes that other developers offer as options. Construction giants Meriton calls these standard. These include air conditioning and fully tiled bathrooms. All gourmet kitchens come standard with stainless steel European appliances and stone bench tops. Double glazing windows in some of the apartments. This site will also include a childcare centre, which is convenient and ideal for the working families and also a large retail space.
New 1 bedroom apartments with parking can be had for $390,000 .
Just further down Epsom Road to the corner of Joynton Avenue is the luxury Coda apartments designed by Wilkinson Award-winning architect Frank Stanisic. Apartments at Coda are up to 25% larger than prevailing Sydney standards. The one-bedrooms are 83sqm and start from $429,000. They have cathedral-like ceilings, with a loft bedroom looking over the living areas and a study facing the landscaped courtyard to the south.
The two-bedroom apartments are 107sqm and start from $599,000. They have timber-decked balconies on each level.
