Wait, though - let me tell you why that $1.2 million is better spent on a house than, say, 240 000 $5 steaks. This home will let you crow over your neighbors, who probably only have $980 000 homes, and are only worthy of your contempt.
Unfortunately, there is one block filled with $5 million homes, so you'd better get used to feeling like you're at the end of the poverty stick when you're over there.
