If you've been down Glebe Point Road recently, you've probably been irritated by the roadwork that's been going on. It seems like they've been working on that since the beginning of time, and they're no closer to finishing it.
Well, if you KEEP walking past all of that, you'll see a cheerful mansion, just sitting there on Glebe Pt. Road, hanging out, waiting for people to start carousing in its many rooms. It used to be a doctor's office/residence, and it's perfect for a new doctor to start his practice there.
This post is not about that mansion, though.
It's about another mansion, on Bridge Road, in Glebe.
The Mansion is now for sale.
Sure, the price is a little steep, around $3 million, but what's a few million between friends?
Pshaw... is 5 bedrooms all that qualifies for a mansion these days? When I was a little whippersnapper, it was 10 rooms or nuthin'. Nowadays, you young kids are all callin' yer tiny cabins 'mansions', hoping for a slice of respect and a tall cool drink of rising housing values.
The advantage of buying this mansion is that you can hang out with all the Glebe mansion owners. Y'all can start a little club, call it the "Mansioneers" and buy an additional, 'regular' home just to have meetings in. You can smash stuff up and spill ketchup on the carpet. No one cares.
A cool 3 mil - and it's yours. The life, the vision, the space. Are you up for it?
