Karratha is a modern township that is now recognised as the regional administrative centre of the Pilbara. Other town sites include the industry-based Dampier and Wickham, the historic towns of Roebourne and Cossak and of course the coastal retreat of Point Samson. All these towns are located within a 50 square kilometre radius. With excellent winter weather, great fishing, spectacular scenery of the Millstream and Karijini National Parks right on our doorstep, inland Western Australia is most definitely a great place to live.
Along with the great outdoors to experience in the region, there are several areas of interest such as Historical Cossack, the Dampier Archipelago, The Burrup and great hiking trails to walk.
