Hunter's Hill is on the Lower North Shore, an odd part of Sydney that's remarkably far from everything, while still being tenaciously close to the CBD.

One of Australia's oldest suburbs, it's a recognized conservation area, with over half of the suburb protected. The original residents were escaped convicts from Cockatoo Island, swimming the Harbour for the first sign of land. Good onya, mates!
