Located approximately 55km northeast of Jundah, this cattle station for sale in “Swanvale” in central Queensland boasts 160,000 acres on land which is floodplain through to hills.
This big block of land and property could possibly run 1000-1500 heads of cattle, be it breeders or the equivalent in steers or wieners etc, as well as up to 5,000 sheep. From the ad posted on popular classifieds site Gumtree, the owners currently run 600 breeders progeny and 2000 sheep. Their turnover comes from the sale of wiener steers and wool. The owners sometimes hire a ultralight or helicopter as the property is so big! The sheep are sheared once a year while the cattle are mustered and branded twice a year.
