The City of Armadale is 27 km south east of Perth. From Armadale it is only a short drive to the hills, world class tourist venues and thousands of hectares of National Parks and State Forests that contain Western Australia's famous wildflowers and wildlife. Home to around 60,000 people, it's found on the Albany Highway on the edge of the Darling Escarpment at the cross roads to Fremantle, Albany and Bunbury. Armadale is named after a Scottish town of the same name.
